Announcing Local Events

Banners announcing local events Do you want to hang up a banner announcing your event? Pine Rivers Shire Council has a place for you to do this on the corner of Ferny Way and Gordon Road. The notice says: This facility is for community or voluntary use only, for 2 weeks prior to events and remove banner by 2 days after your event.

You can also ask the Ferny Grove Police Station if you can put up your banner announcing your community event on their fence.

Some banners also get put up on the fences of the Ferny Grove State High School or the Ferny Grove State School, but do ask for permission first.
Community notice boards There is a notice board outside The Grove Drapery in the Ferny Way shopping centre.

There are notice boards inside Cedar Creek Community Hall.

There are notice boards inside Ferny Grove Bowls, Sports & Community Club.

Wish list: Some more community notice boards in easily accessible places.

Ask the local schools if you can put something on their notice board if it is relevant to the school community.
